Beginner’s Guide to Travel-Friendly Sex Toys
2nd Jun 2020
Nothing is more annoying than having to open your luggage in front of everyone at airport security, but it’s even more embarrassing when the officer pulls out your sex toys! Not only that, but they’ll have a bit of fun with you and demand to know what they’re for, when they already know!
But there’s no shame in sex toys, after all, everyone needs to have some safe fun in their lives. Sex toys are for you, or you and your partner. They spice up a normal activity that often can become boring over time. So, what if you are travelling somewhere and want to bring your sex toys? Can you bring them or should they stay at home?
Here’s a quick guide to help you pack everything you need.
- Avoid metal toys.Nothing shows up clearer on the scanner than metal objects of all sizes. Small items, such asjewellery, will be fine, but anything larger, such as a big dildo or a vibrator, and you will be asked to open up your suitcase.
- Remove batteries.Whether you’re packing it into your checked luggage or bringing it in a carryon bag, remove the batteries from all your sex devices. These items can be pulled from your bags, even after check in, and the last thing you want is to find your luggage is missing items when you go to pick up your bags at your destination.
- Keep lube to under 100ml.Lubricants fall under liquids, so these must not only be placed into a plasticziplock baggie, but they must be under 100ml per container.
- Use zippered bags.Makeup or shaving kit bags are perfect for travel, and can also conceal your smaller dildos or vibrators. Security personnel will simply think they arejewellery or lipstick containers.
